So, there's a thread about some sports star who did a bad, and it's suggested his punishment is too high.
Paris got caught doing drugs, and it's suggested her jailterm was too short... (ok, this does pre-suppose she should be called a 'role model'... )
So - how should the law handle such rolemodels - higher punishments because of the bad example they're setting?
Less punishment because they are (contentiously) doing something for the community?
Treated exactly the same as any other person?
(Please, bear this in mind... once Blas makes it through the finals and becomes Ms Carp-Rock 2009, she'll then be internationally famous, and thus, can be considered a role model, too! )
