I did the FWB sitch for a year as well. It did work, somewhat, as we both knew that nothing else would happen between us and that no penetration was involved. He taught me a few things and I taught him quite a bit in return. But yes, I did go through the whole "feeling like I was being used" drama. We did break it off for a while, but then eventually went back to it. It was only rare times we'd meet up, once in a while. Now...I still talk to him online, but that's it.
