Any comment I make should not be taken as an absolute, unless I say it should be. Even this one.

If they killed someone just for having a legally carried weapon, well that's I keeping with them killing people for being gay. Never the less, actual cops couldn't do anything but take it from you.

And if they're willing to kill people for no reason, I'd be willing to put up a fight.

The reality of the matter is that most CCL holders have far more trigger time and such than many cops do. A pattern I intend to continue.

Even so, given the choice between doing something and maybe getting shot, or doing nothing and letting someone innocent die... I would choose doing something.

You missed a part. "Maybe getting shot, and definitely going to jail, or..."

As out of line as these cops were, and as completely reprehensible as their actions are, they were still acting as police officers, meaning if you pull a weapon on them, there's a few laws that would apply, such as "meanacing an officer, obstructing an officer in the course of his duties," and others.

I'm all for the following of laws allowing CCL, but seriously. Pulling a gun on a cop, even an asshole cop will never. Ever. In any damned universe leads to a positive outcome for you. You won't even stop them from what they're doing. Anyone who thinks they can a) outdraw multiple cops, b) SHOOT a cop without being shot back, c) think that they won't face charges, and d) be not be harassed for eternity by police, needs to re-evaluate their grasp of "The Blue Wall."

if a bunch of drunk and semi-drunk gay guys are anything like a bunch of drunk and semi-drunk straight guys, i could see someone grabbing an ass.

but that's still does not justify what the cops did

Not to mention the wisdom of brandishing a weapon in a crowded place. There really isn't anything smart about that particular scenario.
