    Ah. Interesting follow-up. Well, I have to say, if the employees were wrong on what the health code is, then I'm very happy they apologized!

    It did seem a bit silly to me that a 6 month old would be expected to have shoes on...

      It could be a corporate induced store policy, which the employees have no choice but to enforce. If the manager hadn't enforced it, maybe corporate would have come down heavily on him. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
