Take food to bedroom = being terrorized with snakes for 6 y.o. girl

6-year-old girl in rural Virginia city, tied up to bed and left alone with 5 to 10 rubber snakes surrounding her because she dared to take food into her bedroom

More than likely, she took the food because she was hungry, and was probably starving. Any person (in this case, her Grandmother - the primary caregiver - and the aunt) who would torture a little girl like this probably starved her, IMHO. An uncle was arrested because he knew but didn't do anything about it.

The little girl is now with another relative and will be looked at by a doctor soon to see if she is malnourished.

This is horrible. Tying her up to a bed? It's not like she was violent or else the family would have mentioned it, so there's no reason to tie her down. Mentally abusing her? Just making her fears even more intense.
