Normally true, but causing me physical pain is not anyone's right.
I kind of expected someone to think I was hypocritical.

Um, what clothing that you would normally see cause you physical pain? If you genuinely experience such when seeing clothing you don't deem appropriate, then Darwin is trying to tell you something.

I was referencing stink being inherently different than clothing and other visually based rudeness.

Hehe, that made me giggle, I think he was refering to people being stinky.

Nope, confusing "I think it's rude" for "make it illegal" is exactly in line with your position in the S&M thread. Not hypocritical to maintain that at all.
Any comment I make should not be taken as an absolute, unless I say it should be. Even this one.

It's always amused me that it takes my husband longer to get ready between the two of us when we go out, especially if we're going to a casual restaurant or out with friends and not to some posh place. Typically, I will throw on jeans and a nice shirt, run a brush through my hair, put some deodorant on, and be ready to go. I don't wear makeup, I don't do anything special with my hair (no up-dos or products), I don't wear much jewelry. He's not obsessive about his appearance or anything, he just has a routine that he does that takes longer than mine. He has long hair (much much longer than mine) so he usually braids it before we go out. He also usually shaves before we go out. Not that I DON'T shave, but I also don't shave every day or every other day, and he usually does. The counter space around our bathroom sink is probably about 75% his products and stuff that he uses vs. my shaving stuff, toothbrush/paste, and deodorant.

I see it this way, you have a right to dress however you want. I also have a right to think you are inconsiderate or "indecent."

People have different standards. *shrug* It's just the way it is.

Unless you're breaking the law (exposing your "breeding parts" as someone else put it) I couldn't care less.

The worst I'll do is make fun of you to my friends when you aren't looking.
