If you're gonna be descreet...awesome...I respect that.

I once worked at a coffee shop (in a mall....so it was tiny....3 tables)

This women comes it, sits at the table directly across the counter (where, ya know, I had to stand) and whips it out, sticking the babe on it. I actually forget if there was someone with her (besides the baby) I was so in shock. My mall actually had "mommy rooms" where she could feed, or she could have been discreet.

My coworkers at the time were teenaged males.....they were a mixture of "Awesome" and "ewwww" lol

Of the incidents I've seen a far as work goes..

I've had one woman with a 1wk old kid breastfeeding-kid was covered by blanket.
I've had another woman and her about 18-month old kid whip out her boob and starts breastfeeding her kid. (kid was standing and todding about in the trolley)

Both those times I haven't said anything. My rule at work is more or less "don't draw attention to what's happening, finish the transaction."

As far as the mall goes, there are quite a few parenting rooms located alongside the toilets so it's not a huge issue. The cinema does babes in arms sessions, so that if the infant needs to breastfeed, then it can breastfeed.

But yeah, there's the discreet and the not-so-discreet. Unfortunately, a few people have ruined it for everybody.
