What are the thought police going to do next, ban everything cept for cotton wool and bubblewrap the kids on the offchance that someone tries to hurt them?

It's ridiculous. You can't make the world completely safe, so you should teach the kids to think before they act and take responsibility for their actions. (Easier said than done...)

Well, adults aren't allowed to do that, so why should kids? [sarcasm off]

I always thought that part of being a child was learning thru experience; if children are no longer allowed to have experience, how are they supposed to learn anything? It's like the hysteria lobby screaming that there are child molesters everywhere, and refusing to let children play without a million adults there to supervise.
