Why have you jumped to the conclusion that the Morehouse cross-dressing students are anxiety-sufferers with overpowering compulsions to wear skirts? What evidence is there to suggest mental illness?

I think it's a safer bet to assume that they are just regular cross-dressers who think it's a fun way to express their sexuality, and perhaps a sexual turn-on as well.

Hate to break it to *you*, but that ain't normal. Most reasonably mentally healthy folks past the age of 6 or so outgrow this. I know it's trendy to be so nonjudgemental that anything relatively harmless is let by, but that still doesn't make it normal.

It serves to show that medical decisions should be made by professionals rather than bureaucrats. The fact that some do need "woman's" attire exist, no college should have the right to ignore and discriminate against them.

Normal does not mean without any quirks or hang-ups.
It means able to participate in society and add to it. Otherwise no human is normal.

And if they get a medical exemption then they might have a case, but as we don't know whether it's from comfort (and by that I mean physical comfort), fetishism or the first stage of thier time as transgendered throwing out "discrimination" is bull.
I am a sexy shoeless god of war!
Minus the sexy and I'm wearing shoes.

Maybe. I was just spit-balling ideas while tired.
I still don't like obnoxious exclusionary practices, even if they don't rise to illegal discrimination.

As I said in my first post, I don't particularly like this rule either; I happen to hate rules that deny people the right to express themselves.

However, the point still stands that a private establishment can do whatever the hell they like. The same rule, ie freedom of expression, means that the college have the right to make these rules; you can't just apply the rule to the people you agree with.
"Oh wow, I can't believe how stupid I used to be and you still are."

I know. I try to promote that belief of freedom to be dicks too. I just feel the need to make sure that the dickeshness stays below a certain level.

I agree however there is a time and a place to express yourselves and these classes aren't it.

You wouldn't be allowed to suddenly start painting a picture in math class but in art class on the other hand you would.

Uh, I'm agreeing with you. I don't see why you took that part of my post to reply to when I've been saying all along that the college has the right to set down any rules it likes.
