NY1 Anchor, Dominic Carter, bumps himself off flight
The story:
Mr. Carter is on a flight to Kansas City to go away on a relaxing getaway with his wife.
Mr. Carter gets up to go to the bathroom. At this time, he notices his shoe is untied and bends down to tie it. When he gets up, he bumps into a male flight attendant. Flight attendant freaks out, calls cops and ground supervisor because he claims he's been "assaulted".
It would have taken an hour to replace the highly agitato flight attendant. Rather than delay the flight, Mr. and Mrs. Carter remove themselves from the flight. They get another one a little later and are even bumped up to First Class Seats.
The cops say that the flight attendant way over-reacted.
An interesting sidenote: Mr. Carter is facing domestic-violence charges stemming from an altercation with his wife.
