Foul-Mouthed Kids in the 'Hood

What on Earth is it with these kids coming up nowadays? Seems most of the ones I see in the neighborhood are foul-mouthed, creating disturbances, walking INTO people's yards, bothering dogs who are INSIDE a chain-link fence not bothering anyone . . .

Just ran off a bunch of them a short time ago. Loud as can be, using just about every four-letter word you can dream of . . .

One of them ran up into the neighbor's yard and tried to scare their dogs (which are running loose in the backyard behind a 6 foot high fence.)

I go to the end of the porch because I hear dogs raising Cain . . . and see this.

"GET OUT OF THAT YARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I bellow. I'm sure I could have been heard in the next county.

"FUCK YOU!" one of the kids yell back as they continue walking.

"ARE THOSE THE ONLY WORDS YOU KNOW???" I yell back.

Another "genuis" decided to try to walk over into the neighbor's yard again to the fence.

"GET OUT OF THAT YARD AND LEAVE THOSE DOGS ALONE!!!!" I bellow again. "THEY AREN'T BOTHERING YOU!"

Then one "star pupil" yells out "FUCK YOU, (and a lovely racist word that starts with C)" and move on down the road.

My brother comes outside then . . . he's still rambling on about those brats even now. He can't stand this even worse than I can.

Sad part is, the police can't do anything because they are out in a public street. Even if they try to go up into the same yard (or any yard) again, by the time 911 is called, they'll be gone and the police still can't do anything.

Or, like yesterday, we had to bring Grandmama inside because the same neighbor came over and said he saw some kids throwing rocks in her direction while she was lying out in the yard, under a tree. We've been keeping her inside since.

It's sad when you can't have peace in your own yard because of misbehaving, unsupervised and obviously bored kids. I suspect it's a combination of family who doesn't/won't care about them enough to take time and teach them what's right and wrong/nothing constructive for them to do/and maybe no good role models.

Or maybe they just need a good dose of WhoopAss.

You know its stuff like that which makes me happy to live in the country. Not to say the kids are much better out here, its just people are more likely to take a stronger stand against that sort of behavior.

Probably a bunch of gangsta wannabes trying to play tough and if someone actually stood up to them theyd scatter like roaches.

Next time get one of those high powered airsoft rifles and plink a butt or two.

I don't know about that. There are plenty of "wannabe" gangstas in rural SW PA. I really hate to generalize, but most of those fools are low-income white trash, who usually *do* live in low-income housing or trailer parks. That's why even the decent, hard working people who unfortunately live there get a bad rap. (I'm not trying to slam you at all Rahmota--that really is what it's like in rural SW PA. Where I live, it's mainly the stupid rich kids in the 'burbs who act like that!)

Protege: Oh I am not going to fly off on you about that as there are a few of the "wiggers" wanna be gagsta in town or in the trailer park in the county seat. Its just people are more likely to let them go only so far and then stomp them around here. Rednecks and good ol boys outnumber the gangstas by quite a bit more. Gotta remember this part of appalchia is not too far from the old hatfield and mccoy regions so folks do not suffer fools gladly.

The closer I get to Dayton or cincy though and the story changes.

Out here lifted cars and trucks blasting montgomery gentry or big n rich.

In there lowered riiced cars and trucks blasting chingy and 50 cent.

Here it's a bunch of upper middle class spoiled rotten rich kids who ACT like they are in Detroit or Minneapolis, when really, they live in this little hicktown in northwest WI. They try to start gangs. Um, I don't think so. Most of the time, a kid from one of those bigger, higher crime cities moves here and teaches the "wigger" kids how to act like that, and pretty soon it's their mission to make this city into Minneapolis and Chicago.

Other times it's like what others have described....extremey low income white trash trying to act tough and defeat "the man". This is the main reason I want to beat Eminem senseless. Look what he did to all these young white kids. They ALL think they are black, and they ALL think their lives are the movie 8 Mile!

What I'd like to do with these kids is force them to stay in one of the really tough prisons for a week, just so they can see what really happens to gangstas. Or take them to a hospital to see a real gang member who got shot so full of holes he's now a dribbling vegetable on life support.

These kids are like this cuz their parents didn't smack them. I know, smacking isn't good for everything, but honestly, who doesn't get "That kid needs a good kick up the arse" running thru their head when they see these stupid brats? There should be a law about rude, badly behaved kids like there is about dogs; if the kids break the law or even just do antisocial behaviour like described in the first post, the parents should be fined and their kids locked up for a week in the prisons I mentiond earlier. Soon teach both the idiot parents and kids a lesson.
