This has never worked on me but I get what your saying. I see this in other people

That would be me. I have a deathly fear of needles. I'm deathly afraid of needles. I'm OK with something quick like a shot, but if it's for any length of time, I start to flip out. Even if I can't feel it, just knowing there is a needle sticking in me makes me very uneasy.

I gave blood once, a few days after my son was born, just so I could find out my blood type. I was freaking so bad, even the nurse was asking me if I wanted to back out. I have to give her credit, she was very good at keeping me distracted to the fact there was a needle in me. She made conversation with me and kept my mind on other things. Still, I don't think I can go thru that again.

        OT, but...

I had a client many years ago (well, 2 actually for this) who were needle-phobes. But, they still wanted acupuncture. One covered her eyes while I was needling... and I had to tell her when they were in Next week, when she came back, she was watching....
ZOE: Preacher, don't the Bible got some pretty specific things to say about killing?

SHEPHERD BOOK: Quite specific. It is, however, Somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

I usually give to animal charities. I have a couple of friends that got me into it. Hell I use the address labels that charities sends to me. Never send anything back

I have given to animal charities on the behalf of friends as a gift to them. Typically I don't give to charities. Honestly it's a money thing. I don't make a lot of it and with my debts the amount of money I can use on myself is minimal if it is a choice of giving that money to other people or getting myself something it is gonna be me every time.

The thing is if you dress nice for work and have a couple of nice things people assume your well off not that you saved your butt off for stuff.
