I wouldn't. Fuck me over once, shame on you. Fuck me over twice, shame on me. A cheat will stay a cheat, unless they get some huge revelation that changes their attititude and I will not give anyone another chance to do it again."Oh wow, I can't believe how stupid I used to be and you still are."

$55 million to stay with him for two years? No one is worth that.Violence has resolved more conflicts than anything else. The contrary opinion that violence doesn't solve anything is merely wishful thinking at its worst. - Starship Troopers

I'm in a cynical mood, today.
For me...I doubt there would be any reason to stay with a cheating spouse. I hope I never have to figure that out. Not being in the situation myself, of course it's "easy" to form an opinion."Children are our future" -LaceNeilSinger

I don't think cheating should necessarily be the end of a marriage. Your mileage may vary; it depends on the person.
Sometimes commitment means sacrifices. You can work through unfaithfulness with a spouse without losing your self-respect as long as they are genuinely contrite and genuinely committed to doing better.
That may or may not be the case with Mr. and Mrs. Woods, but I don't judge their personal decisions.

I don't often broadcast this, but I cheated in the early part of my marriage. No excuses, but the fact that I was really young (21) and had a bit of a drinking problem only exacerbated the situation.
I got caught, and my now ex-husband forgave me. Granted, it was really rough for awhile, but we stuck it out. We eventually divorced 15 years later, but for totally different reasons.
There will always be a soft spot in my heart for him for being able to forgive me. We had some rough times after the divorce, but now we are almost friends.
Flame away.

$55million for 2 years - hell yeah, I'd do that!
Take into consideration a) cheater has done it once, so staying may be considered a sham anyway, b) if I had married in the first place, I'm already intending to stay with them for some time, c) it's not a bad payout for such disloyalty, and d) if my only role is to look like we're happy, go for it! Just cos she's cheated and I'm only staying for the money, nothing stopping me finding my bit on the side as well!
No money involved... circumstances had better be pretty damn extenuating!ZOE: Preacher, don't the Bible got some pretty specific things to say about killing?
SHEPHERD BOOK: Quite specific. It is, however, Somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.
