Yeah here in some states you'd likely be in trouble too for that. IF the guy is running away then your life is no longer in jeopardy. The laws in Indiana say that you can use REASONABLE force to make someone leave your property if your life isn't in jeopardy. Deadly force is always a last resort.

I like that they didn't just let him and his brother off scot free. I always thought that they DID break the law and should be punished, I just thought that, especially in Mr Hussein's case, the punishment was a little severe.
