Asking permission to go to the rest room

All I require of my employees is that they give me some kind of indication that they're going just so I don't wonder where they went. I tell them they don't have to ask, just say hey I'll be right back.

If they had to throw up or if was some other emergency I'd want them to run to the restroom as fast as they can

Where I work, we can go to the bathroom whenever we like; however, it's prefered that we wait til a quiet period. Not a managerial order, just normal consideration for one's collegues that you don't run to the bog the moment ten million customers charge into the store. XD
