It was either Bono or Sting who said fuck at a live awards show and got away with it because the FCC made some ruling that because it wasn't planned, directed at someone, and was used because he was happy that it was acceptable. I forget the exact ruling as this was a few years ago.

Also technically news channels could show the clip unbeeped since the FCC doesn't have authority over cable channels. Since no one channel was filming the event the FCC might have trouble going after anybody for it.

Wasn't this taken one of his first days of being VP?

Why is that disturbing? I find it actually refreshing. Whoa, people are concentrating on something more important than a random f-bomb! Maybe we are starting to pull the stick out of our collective national ass.

And yes, health care reform IS really f*cking important.

I am shocked and offended by your use of the f-word!

Why have one when you can have two for twice the price?

FCC's bullshit anyway, every time they don't do anything is Christmas morning for me.... Fuck 'em.

Biden's kinda like a puppy - he piddles on the carpet sometimes, but he's just so gosh darn cute you can't get mad at him. (Whereas Cheney was more like Cerberus, Gatekeeper to Hell itself.)

The FCC is bullshit, plain and simple. Freakin' censorship.

Nah, Cheney is more like vader. He wasn't the head honcho, and he didn't do much talking... but he was the one that went about fucking things up for the head honcho

I'm not much of a Star Wars fan. I like it, but not a fanboy. With that in Mind,

DOn't ever Insult Vader by applying him to fucking Cheney.

Gah. Anakin is rolling in his grave man! The force is now insulted. Even the Dark Side of the force is like, "Whoa man... that was harsh!"

Except that Anakin was a whiny little brat. A trait that was apparently genetic on the male line because Luke had a tendency to be whiny, too. "But I was going in to Tosche station to pick up some power converters." Would you care for some cheese to go with that?

But, they both did finally grow up....after Vader did some major damage that Luke had to come fix.

Leia took after their mother more....thank goodness!

And Anakin has no grave to spin in. He became one with the Force, like Yoda and Ben. But, Luke gave his suit a traditional Jedi funeral.

(And I'm saying this as a huge fan of all of the movies.)

I think the ewoks themselves would be far, FAR more tsasty than a previously cooked Sith Lord.
