Fairly easy to do. I'll show you the quick way to do it. All you need to do is a little addition.

Say you had a nice meal. It's bill total is $32.81.

Drop that penny, and move the decimal over one point, so it's now

$3.28. This is ten percent. To make it tweny percent, you just add it again.

    $3.28 + $3.28 is $6.56. Which is a twenty percent tip for $32.81.

    Hope that helps.

I appreciate you showing me. I do believe I've been shown this method before, I always forget by the time I get to actually calculating anything. I'll write it down this time I think

I'm beginning to wonder if I have some sort of learning disability when it comes to math, because I get lost really easily when it comes to numbers, I mix them up all the time and I forget them really easily (except some phone numbers for some reason).

I'll admit, I wish my cellphone had the capability of performing cupic roots (or, at the very least, being able to raise a number to the nth-power; I believe raising a number to the power of 1/3 has the same effect).

I... I'm beging to fear my classmates.

Every class. EVERY FREAKING CLASS I'm in, has a group ro set people that are just complete idiots, and I'm wondering WHY oh god WHY are you spending the money to be here, when you choose to act like an idiot and not even TRY to listen or even open a text book, or act pissed off when the teacher tells you to leave his class, because you felt that you had to talk about Jerry Sprnger or Riveroa or whatver asinie idiotic daytime talk show was far far more important then the discuession of Mitochondria and all the other various cell makeup.
