Originally posted by Red Panda View PostThe nurse trained in breast feeding made an observation on breast feeding, which according to you is wrong because expers should only make observations in their field you agree with otherwise they are unqualified.
Originally posted by Red Panda View PostEven if the nurse's observation where out of line I don't think she pulled a gun on CPS. They decided she was credible enough to act on her word. How is she at fault if the experts agree with her?
Originally posted by Red Panda View PostThe fact is the nurse was in the right but because the couple is disabled and went to the media they get support from the public and politicians who want to look good for a special interest group.
Originally posted by Red Panda View PostIf the couple brought the baby home because the nurse was too scared to upset the blind and they killed it through neglect they would be wailing that somebody should have helped them and the nurse would be in trouble for not reporting them, so really, she would be in the same place anyways. At least she was brave enough to think of the baby and not spare the feelings of the people who are suppose to be adults.

Well, funny that the court did decide it was done out bigotry, which is why the court stated that the child being taken away was a civil rights violation. Which you prefer to ignore.
However, I am now glad to confirm that you don't believe in the Equal Protection and Due Process clauses of the 14th Amendment. You poor white, sight woman - so oppressed.Regards,

"Innocent until proven guilty" is given a back seat to "for the children".
Originally posted by Red Panda View PostExcept thats not how it works. The innocent kids being taken away cases are far fewer then the kids are abused and keep being abused while the investigation goes on and then later get returned to the home and abused some more.
again Red we need citations for this statement that far fewer innocent kids get taken away. from my experience with CPS it was "QUICK get these NICE innocent children away from those vicisious abusive parents" before ANY investigation was done even if there was strong evidence that the alligations were patently false.
Obviously Red has NEVER had to deal with CPS. Good luck with their logic if they ever do.I'm lost without a paddle and I'm headed up sh*t creek.

My dad works for CPS. He has far more stories about the kids that they thought were being abused or knew were being abused and couldn't take out of the home then he has about times he took kids who were not being abused out of the home for no reason other then to delight himself because apparently CPS workers are all evil and take kids away for no reason only to place them with foster families that due abuse them because that benefits them somehow.
Or more likely some people had a bad experience with CPS and now they bad mouth them and over exagerate.
That's a lie. The article says this occurred in ONE session. There were no further sessions.

Red Panda, have you ever breastfed? Generally, there are several attempts made during any given session.
So, because your dad works for CPS, everyone here is lying?Do not lead, for I may not follow. Do not follow, for I may not lead. Just go over there somewhere.

I wonder if the baby really turned blue, in my limited experience (male, one daughter, two grandchildren) a baby who can't breathe will let go of the nipple long before it suffocates, if they have a cold for instance, but I don't remember if newborn babies do that.

Newborns will turn their heads if they can't breathe, unless they are unable to do so.Do not lead, for I may not follow. Do not follow, for I may not lead. Just go over there somewhere.
