How do the kids survive their non-parents

i can agree with that....just have yet to experience that from a male doctor...
i prefer a female doctor mostly because of my past experiences with male, however I won't NOT have a male dr examine me.
I am wary as there are two dr's with bad reputations around here so that worries me some.

My regular doctor is just a stiff who thinks I make up everything that's wrong with me, or it's because I smoke, tan, drink (well, I don't drink anymore but I used to) have sex, etc.

Yep, I get charged out the yoohoo just to see you, so I make stuff up just so I can pay $20 or more just to see you. Keep thinking that, you fucking cunt.

Loathes doctors because they go by the book not by the person. I was there for lexia's delivery and the doctor took off before the nurse was done and she heard the nurse say "I'm checking on her dilation,wait a minute," and still left.
I won't say more because I know it bothers Lexia.

all I will say is I was ok with that doctor until DD was born. She thought I would be in labor a few hours. Yeah, no. Since then that dr transfered to another place...good for her, ok for me as I stopped seeing her for my womanly exams

thats part of the rant, how can someone have a child and not be changed mother or father.

i fail to see that. as in I cannot fathom having a child and not change as a person in a good way. I tried to and did not get far. So it bothers me when i see bad mothers or hear tales of it.

I apologize as my rant did get one sided and was not directed at ALL men just those that i head of that abuse or mistreat their kids or fail to be dads.
I also understand that some people don't want to be or are not parents or meant to be by choice or just incapable. But that also gets into the rant that if you don't want to be a parent use protection or abstinence. As I said a different rant.

Honestly, for some women, a child is nothing more than an accessory or a meal ticket. In other cases, the child is a constant reminder of their ex and becomes a target for their redirected anger. Then there are the parents that need a bigger kick in the ass to "grow up and be responsible."

Then there are the people that surprise you. I have a roommate who we thought would make the worst mother. Surprisingly, she completely turned her life around and is now one of the best parents I've ever met.
