It can't be that bad of a punishment to dump a stupid bitch into a garbage can and leave her in there for 15 hours just to prove a point.

I'm all for it. I mean, I'd rather they put her against a Gladiator, but I'd settle for that.

She is probably going to be fired. I could almost feel sorry for her, but then I see the video again and hear her say "It was only a cat".

Tiger Cub Hidden In Suitcase With Stuffed Toy
A Thai woman has been detained by airport authorities in Bangkok after they found a drugged tiger cub stashed alongside a stuffed toy in her luggage.
        ...

The woman, identified as Piyawan Palasarn, was charged with wildlife smuggling. If found guilty, she faces up to four years in prison and a 40,000 baht (£824) fine.
But if I was in the town where the bin woman lived and had my account with RBS, I would boycot that branch or take my money elsewhere

I'm confused as to why you would boycott a whole bank branch just because the woman works there? Generally speaking, the actions of one person do not represent the company as a whole. I agree that what she did was despicable and cruel, but I don't really see what it has to do with her job.

What I'm wondering is why the hell did she do this in the first place? The cat wasn't hurting her, she was petting the cat, then just picks it up and dumps it in a trash bin? WTF was she thinking?!

Why do people do things like this?

Because whatever punishment they recive is so light, that it's worth it to them just to do it.

well according to This Sun Article
MOGGIE mauler Mary Bale yesterday admitted dumping a family's pet puss in a wheelie bin - but insisted: "I don't know what the fuss is about, it's just a cat."

The grey-haired spinster faces a possible RSPCA prosecution after shock CCTV footage showed her scooping up four-year-old tabby Lola "as a joke".
That is NOT a joke - that is an act of animal cruelty and it's twisted and despicable that this woman thinks it was a laugh. I can't stand the people who do such cruel things to poor innocent creatures and say "well, it was just a/n <insert animal here>" I think the best punishment for people like that is to treat them in the same manner they treated their victim. You put a cat in a wheelie bin for 15 hours, same fate for you. You drag a dog behind your truck - looks like you are going to be towed up and down the road for a while... These people are sick.

Jeebuz H... I think dripping water on a cat to annoy it or sticking a bit of tape to its paw is a mean joke (funny, but mean). This is just abosolutely indefensible.

Im unfamiliar with the branch in question, but some might only have 2 windows open at a time and if she is the only open window, I would let someone else go by till the other one is clear.

Generally speaking, the actions of one person do not represent the company as a whole.
Living far away (and pretending I had an account with them) I would still keep my account as I wouldnt have to physically see her, but I would go out of my way to NOT go to that branch even if it was the closest to me, both my bank and building society closed down branches that were walking distance to me and for a time only one bank branch was active that I knew the location of, with only one branch to hand, I would go out of town or else where.

I agree that what she did was despicable and cruel, but I don't really see what it has to do with her job.
people have been sacked just for unfounded allegations on their character, which is unjust and she could take them to tribunal if they did so to her, regardless of the amounts of baying for blood, they would still be in the wrong.

Many companies have a code of conduct that they expect you to follow as what you do reflects on the company, also, if someone is so uncaring about a living creature that is a cherished possesion and member of someones family, why should she care about something like their money?

I'm assuming that she petted the cat to earn its trust and she meant to do it all along. -.-
"Oh wow, I can't believe how stupid I used to be and you still are."

Sorry, I just can't see what all the fuss is about.

Yeah, she's a bitch. She abused the cat. It could have died.

She was caught on CCTV and identified, and is now getting threats.

I just don't get the outrage.

Go turn on the racing channel on the TV. Watch at a dozen short-arsed, silk-wearing bastards abuse an animal for the entertainment of others. Horses get whipped not to correct bad behaviour, but because they aren't running as fast as their riders want. And the crowd roars with delight. All caught on camera. And not a single one of them is any more bothered by their actions than this woman was with her's.

To those who threaten this idiot woman but can't be arsed to protest real animal abuse, fuck you. Fuck you very much.

In this day and age, it is not safe to assume that you* are not under surveillance from somewhere. Cameras are everywhere: security cameras, handhelds, phone cameras, etc. So it is really in your* best interests to not be an asshole.

No water. No food. No bathroom.

For 15 hours like she did to that cat. See how she likes it.

                            She'll never do that again.
We can only hope so. Some people are so screwed up in the head that they think they're just being picked on when they're being punished for their crimes, so they commit more (and worse) crimes. I suspect she might be one of those. I wouldn't be surprised if she's been abusing animals her entire life and this is the first time she's been caught.
