  • Church and Strip Club Protest Each Other

This is going on in a small town near my city. Apparently, a fundamentalist church has been protesting a nearby strip club for four years now trying to get it shut down. Now, the strippers from the club have turned the tables and have been standing outside the church protesting with picket signs.

I find this a little amusing. See, here we have a hardcore right-wing church trying to stop capitalism and the free market from happening.

Right...what the church needs to remember is that at the end of the day, the girls ultimately have a choice.

This was on my local news too, since I'm pretty close - same as you.

I laughed and laughed at the irony.

How about this part of the article?

Club owner Tommy George met with the preacher and offered to call off his not-quite-nude crew from their three-month-long protest if the church responds in kind. But pastor Bill Dunfee believes that a higher power has tasked him with shutting down the strip club.

"As a Christian community, we cannot share territory with the devil," Dunfee said. "Light and darkness cannot exist together, so The Fox Hole has got to go."
Okay, Reverend. Who died and made you master of the universe?

This just seems to be one of those situations where you just want to sit back with a big bowl of popcorn and watch the show. Best entertainment out there.
