So, assault is funny if it's against a cheating man

I so agree with you Ree!!! I could never understand this double standard. People always say "oh that person must felt so mad and betrayed and couldn't help themselves"..if did the same thing and said that what an uproar there would be.
That women (using that term loosely) obviously was cheated on for a reason and she is obviously a criminal.

No, it's not funny. The woman should be prosecuted according to the law and, if there's any justice in the system, the man should receive adequate compensation from his suit.
Double standards are always a problem, no matter which way they swing. Whether it's positive (like getting the choicest concession jobs) or negative (being subjected to more scrutiny from factory supervisors), it'll always breed resentment in *somebody*."You are who you are on your worst day, Durkon. Anything less is a comforting lie you tell yourself to numb the pain." - Evil
"You're trying to be Lawful Good. People forget how crucial it is to keep trying, even if they screw it up now and then." - Good

I wouldn't see that as funny at. all. No matter if it was the man or woman that cheated, putting super glue on somebody's privates is taking it too far for revenge. Like Ivanka Trump said "don't get mad, get everything". If I had a guy that cheated on me, I would make him pay...by taking him to the cleaners in the worst way. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people...

Now back on topic, that is one thing that has always confused me.
A man touches a woman's ass and it's assault, a woman touches a man's ass and it's innocent flirting.
A woman gets mad and kicks a guy in his genitals and the prick had it coming. A man gets upset and kicks a woman in a similar way and he's a sexual predator.
We can even extend this into same sex interactions for double standards.
A lesbian woman accidentally hits on a straight woman and not only do women not get overly offended, the men get turned on.
A gay man accidentally hits on a straight man and he's liable to get killed.
Double standards are everywhere."I'm Gar and I'm proud" -slytovhand

Guilty. I just told my bf the other day "I love knowing that if a guy won't leave me alone, I can slug him right in the face and probably not get in trouble."
Only one person has ever gotten the best of my bf, and it was a very, very large girl. And in that case, I think he had every right to fight back, because she came running at him and sacked him because she thought he was someone else.
