does anyone else fore-see much potential self injuries from people not reading the instructions or taking care or worse ER trips because some people shouldn't use them? And lawsuits to wally world and the product makers? or just wally world.
on the upside it IS a good idea but IF i had a tattoo that I wanted removed I'd go to a professional to get it removed instead of using this cause...i don't trust myself with those kinds of tools in the product description either

Well, first of all, if you buy it at a store, it's not really "homemade" now is it?

Secondly, stupid people will always injure themselves by not reading directions. That's why disclaimers exist.

Meh. There are already tons of personal care products on the market that can cause superficial injuries. Such as electric razors -- if you use them on hair that's too long, you can definitely do some harm.

This is no different from anything else. People will get hurt. They'll sue. They'll ether win or lose, and a new item will come out, where someone will use improper, get hurt, then sue. Maybe they'll win or maybe they'll lose, but the item will gain yet another baffling warning, such as warnings on pens that they are not to be used in writing on eyes.

and for people that still think they can use hair dryers in the shower are the reason WHY we have disclaimers and warnings of not to do dumb things with said items....but i suppose thats another rant for another topic but this one spoke to me. I've wanted a tattoo yet due to my own paranoia of needles and just....not comfortable with a tattoo parlor period I have yet to ever get one as basically once i get it, its there for good. so for this to come along, right i'm so not going to use that on myself if i cannot even stand getting a shot. so good idea i suppose but...still...

I'm a little jaded. There are warnings on chainsaws telling people not to attempt to stop the blade with your hands. There are warning labels on tiki torches that "this product can set other things on fire". There are warning labels saying that hemorrhoid cream is not to be taken orally. Same with Contraceptive cream.

Yes, this product can be abused and yes this can lead to ER visits. But after reading about the concrete enema, or the patient who shoved a matchbox car in hos nose because he was trying to figure out how his child had done so (apparently he figured it out)...I'm convinced that at some point every item either found in nature or created by man will eventually cause a death and have it's own little warning.

I don't have any tattoos but if I did I'd be more comfortable with a professional removing them for me. Sure I'd pay out the wazoo for it but I'd have less aggravation with that as opposed to trying to use the DIY tattoo removal kit.

thats what I was thinking or some form of microdermabrasion (spelling)
i could just forsee ER visits, hur hur i sanded mah arm too hard or I was only following instructions. riiiiight

agree with tropics goddess. alot of people don't seem to get that a tatoo is NOT like facebook or myspace, you CANNOT change or update it (you CAN add to and have it re inked) when you feel like it. once its on there its on for good

makes me wonder how it would work with color ink in a tattoo as compared to just straight black ink tattoo.

I can see a lot of problems happening because people are not following instructions. I think there must be a group of people that do nothing but come up with disclaimers to protect companies from lawsuits.

An at home kit to remove tattoos sounds a little scary to me. A tattoo is created when ink is injected into the dermis level of the skin. I conciser tattoos to be permanent. If you wanted it to be removed then go to a professional.

my thoughts on getting a tattoo removal, go to professional only, expensive and painful but possible
OR if you are unfortunate to have happen, have a burn accident (in no way suggesting this as a way to do it but it has happened on accident or sadly but some fool who did not learn to not play with fire)

Wrecking Balm has been all over the radio since it came out and before it was at your local Wal-Mart's shelves.

I've never heard of anything good of it.

I just deal with my tats. Shame on me for being an idiot teenager.
