Teacher calls police to report stolen laptop & mentions she was raped by same teenagers, state arrests her and says she contributed to the delinquency of minors
Group of teen boys were invited to teacher, Sara Smith's, home by a former step-cousin of hers because the boys were friends with said step-cousin's boyfrend.
Sara Smith, 26-years-old and small in stature, was at first thought to have had consensual sex due in part to the statement of said former step-cousin who said that Ms. Smith was "nasty dancing" with the boys and then they (Smith & the group of boys) went into Smith's room and clothing was being removed and sex was performed. Also, later in the evening, Smith went back to her room with two more times, with two more boys and had sex with them, at different times - but each time, Smith was said to be into it.
Since the beginning of the investigation, Sara Smith said she had been gang raped.
It wasn't until the case went to trial and the first witness was said former step-cousin who then changed her story on the stand and said that Sara Smith was trying to fight the boys off and kept saying "no" and they went ahead and gang raped her.
The trial was immediately stopped, both attornies met with the judge, and the case was immediately dismissed. The step-cousin had been a central witness to the case. Since the step-cousin had changed stories from the time she spoke to investigators to the time she appeared on the witness stand, the case crumpled. Plus the prosecution realized her testimony could no longer be used to show the sex between the teacher & teen boys were consensual.
So ... Is this a case of another predatory teacher or could the step-cousin be telling the truth and she really was gang raped by the teens?
