What this woman did to this poor boy is inexcusable. She had 3 biological children, she is now out of jail and her own children are still with her.

Fucking hell, I hope she gets to spend the right of her life in jail. What a HORRIFIC thing to do to a little boy...or anyone. That poor kid.

That's just fucked up. Those children shouldn't be with her and she shouldn't have something so lenient as house arrest! She deserves life in prison for what she's done to that poor child!

Unfortunately, in a lot of places, this sort of behavior is only rare in its severity. Foster children frequently do not get the same sort of protections that children with their own families get. There is a stigma against kids who are in foster care, just like the one that still affects children who are adopted. As if the same level of care you feel for your own children shouldn't apply to someone else's kids you take care of.

Do you have a link showing that she's out of jail? The second article said that her bond was reduced, but not that it had been paid. Also, looking at the date stamps, these articles are from February and April. The pretrial was scheduled for June 28. Do you have a more recent update?

I would love to see that this woman went to jail for "considerably longer than her life expectancy" as the second article suggested. What a sick, twisted, horrible woman.

I know for a fact she is out, her son is on my son's football team and she is there at the games, with her ankle bracelet on!

The next hearing is next month, I believe. There was a big letter writing campaign here a while back with every one writing in about what a great mother she is.

She, of course, is playing the race card. Wouldn't have been accused if she were white.

Wow. The defender comments on that last article are horrifying.

That anyone can overlook the sort of treatment she put that poor child through for any reason is just abominable.
