    when called on it and asked to pay up by writer tells writer that they should pay cause now they have a piece they can use for their portfolio.

    In the good new the net has taken this story and run with it. Digging has turned up sources from this magazine from NPR, Martha Stewart, etc, all cited, not paid for, advertisers are pulling out, from the magazine etc.

    As a writer this is a nightmare. That someone could and would take my work, and profit from it just cause its out there.

    I like the way the editor's response seems to imply she thinks the recipe authorthe naive one.

    Edited because the magazine editor is also a female, not a dude.

      The best part is that one of the articles was copied word for word by a site owned by Disney. I've put that fort as poking a very angry mother alligator guarding her nest with a three inch stick.
