  • Children services worker found to abuse power

Okay this was on the news here recently. in butler County a children services worker finally got fired 2 years after she removed a woman's child from her home illegally. The woman did not do anything wrong to have her child removed. What happened was the woman got a divorce from her husband, he wound up marrying the trashy scumbag who worked for children services and it usd their power to abuse the system, falsify documents and remove the children so hat the man's ex-wife could not have even visitation. All with no checks and balances and all with the knowledge and permission of the monster's superiors and the gestapo.

After fighting the monstrous injustice for 2 years the mother finally got the bitches at the gestpo fired, and her supervisors fired. No criminal charges are going to be filed though and they are not even loosing their social worker liscences so they are getting off scott free for destroying a family, ruining a woman's life and the lives of her children and being monstors. they deserve a rope dance! I wish they would make a example out of those trash and begin to reform the gestapo.

And whats even more sick and disgusting even after all this she has to roove she is a fit mother still to get custody back because all she has right now is therapeutic visitation!!!!

I get the impression that they are reintroducing mother and daughter gradually because they have not seen each other in over a year, and the daughter is still young.

But you're right - the rest is just a horror story. If its true, this woman should be arrested for kidnapping.

I think the child welfare system in the US is seriously broken. I don't care that the laws vary from state-to-state, every state seems to have major problems.

We've had several cases in my area where a child has been removed from a home where the parents do drugs. They have not been abused and have been in good shape, usually because of intervention from other family. These children are not placed with other family members even though there are family willing to take them in. They end up in a foster home and have turned up either dead or physically or sexually hurt. How is this better than the situation they were in?

Also, I have a friend who unintentionally may have placed her family on CPS radar. She and her husband have their adult single daughter and mentally handicapped 14 year old granddaughter living with them. All the adults work full time and the mother is also going to school full time. They found that in the coming months there will be a 30-45 minute window where they need care for the granddaughter.

They tried to find a babysitter but could not given the handicap of the granddaughter. They checked through the school to see if there was some sort of after-school program they could use--nothing. So they tried going to public assistance people to see if there was a city or county-based after-school program.

The response they got? "No such program exists. If you can't take care of your child, you will need to turn her over to the state to be placed in foster care." Ummmm, overreaction much? They asked no other questions, didn't even really listen to what the family was asking, just made a snap judgment. Hey, Presto, problem solved. Can't find a babysitter for 45 minutes a day? Give up your child. No worries.
