  • Principal Breaks Into Home, Checking on Sick Kids

    http://abclocal.go.com/wabc/story?se...rbs&id=7806396

Holy shit, just saw this on the news. Some woman called her kids' school and told them her sons were sick. The principal then went to their house and just let himself in and didn't announce his presence until he was on the second floor. By the way, did I mention the parents weren't home either?

It blows my mind that such a huge majority are defending this guy. I can understand the young kids supporting him. They have no idea wtf they are talking about. But there are plenty of adults backing him up, saying it shows he cares and crap like that. If someone broke into my house like that after I called in sick when I was in school, I'd be greeting him with a 9 iron or a baseball bat. It is absolutely absurd that anyone thinks this is acceptable.

The Principal went way to far with barging in uninvited nor unannounced in the house to check on those kids. A call would've sufficed, but not that! I don't blame the mother for filing a complaint about that.

He checked them "because he cares"? I highly doubt that. My cynical attitude says he wanted to see if they were really sick. For arguements sake, if he really did care, why did he feel the need to go in uninvited?

First the laptop thing, now this.

That's not just wrong, that's creepy as hell! Stalkeresque, even.

Wait, both the article and the video say that he entered the house uninvited and didn't announce his presence until he was already in the building, but at the bottom of the article, it says he was let in by an adult relative of the family??? I still think it's unacceptable for him to go to the house just to "check on" the students -- I agree with whoever said he was just snooping to see if the kids were really sick -- but at least if someone did let him in, he wasn't breaking and entering.

If he DID enter the dwelling uninvited -- that is, no one answered the door and said he could enter, he just opened the door himself and walked right in -- I'd be bringing breaking and entering charges against him if I were the mother of those kids.

I also agree that it's sickening that these parents are supporting him...seriously? I wonder how they would feel if they called in sick to work and their boss showed up at their front door just to "check on" them.

              Thank you!!

I had such a hard time taking this seriously at first, because I kept envisioning Jeffrey Jones skulking around and ultimately getting his ass kicked by Jennfer Grey.

After I chucked at that memory, I went back and read the article.

I'm with Greenday - I don't know if I'm more disturbed at what he did, or the people (adults) fucking defending it.

According to that article, he really DID pull a Ferris Beuler. The article states he was suspicious of the boys actually being sick, so he went to verify that they were actually ill. He found them both in bed, but even that didn't convince him -- he tried to get the boys (who were sleeping and not even fully dressed) to get out of bed and get back to school! He only left when one of the boys called their mother and she ordered him out of the house!

That is fucking creepy. I don't care if they're lying their asses off, you do not come down to their house and try to drag them off to school. What the FUCK is wrong with him?!

Wow. Creepy. Reminds me alot of Ferris Beuler, and in more ways then one.

(Jeffrey Jones was arrested in 03 for child porn, and taking pictures of a naked boy. The charges were dropped on child porn since he pleaded no contest to the pictures of the naked boy).

Kids are same age, and in underwear, and crazy principal demanding them to get to school?

I'm shocked he isn't fired. I'm shocked he hasn't had charges pressed, like breaking and entering, harrassment, etc...

Oh wait. School. He's a bully type. He's untouchable. It was the kids mistake for not going to school while sick.

If that article is accurate, this is beyond creepy. A grown man breaking into a boys bedroom while they are half naked? How can anyone NOT see anything wrong with that?

And those defending him are fucking morons. One person in the comments made him out to be a hero for "going above and behind" or some bullshit like that. He went above and beyond all right; above and beyond being a control freak or a pervert.

both articles state that the MOTHER of the two boys personally called the students in sick. unless Mom was in on the "Beuler prank", the principle is one sick puppy esp since the ride-a-long councelor left after finding both boys sick in bed.

Only the first article states the boys were home WITHOUT adult supervision but two lines later it states the principle was let into the house by a adult relative of the family. this one states the MOTHER filed the complain because he walked into her house uninvited.

a bit contradictory. who is this mysterious "other adult relative' that let the principle in the house????

Regardless of if he was allowed into the hose in the first place, he should not have even GONE to the house in the first place.

If the parent or legal guardian of a child says that the child is not going to school and calls it in to the school following the school's procedures...

End of discussion. The Principal overstepped the limits.

well they might have grounds to get him on the sex offenders register and that would end his term as principle real quick and I think all those defending parents would do a quick 180 on their support

As far as the adult relative letting him in the house, they made no mention of that whenever I saw it on the news on TV. In fact, the parents stated their were no adults there.
