Besides, there are easier ways to get more and better information from people online.

Mr. Boozy does a lot of this for a living, and I doubt he'd ever use this site for anything. It's inaccurate, and there are better places to go.

I do remember now that the second address was a place that I worked at 8 years ago (left in late 2002). we literally worked out of a guys converted garage. and he defineately does NOT have the same last name as I do. I do not remember getting any mail in my name at that address.

I do wonder why there is not any more recent data. as I have had apts and utilities and other mail type things in my name.

It doesn't even come close for me. Yay! Not even old addresses. *does happy dance*. I guess being a semi hermit has it's good points?

Likely because you haven't had it posted, or applied online with a more current address.

Yeah, this isn't that shocking, really. As for me... It finds my mother's name, and not my father's. Shows their house, and lists only her there (and her "unknown" parents). Doesn't find me at all. Doesn't find any of my online usernames, one of which uses part of my real name, save for finding my YouTube account which has two really inoffensive videos (a musical fountain show and footage of a pipe organ being played).

The "street photos" it uses, mentioned a few posts back as a "US project", was Google Maps' 'Street View' feature. The lawsuits were mostly over them going down private roads, which was very rare - they didn't even map some of the less-common cross streets right smack in the middle of downtown Seattle! I do have a really nosy, nasty neighbor who lives a few blocks from me. Google Street View shows him taking out the garbage, leaning over and showing a huge plumber's crack to the camera.

I was unable to find myself on there and I've been in the country nearly three years. I did find my wife (under her maiden name) along with accurate address and phone number, but the estimated home value was WAY off (if it were accurate, I'd be living in a mansion right now). It listed her marital status as single which is also not true.

I should also not I'm very careful about posting information online.

I remember white pages scares around a decade ago. None of this is new, just expanded. I find very little about me, other than the stuff that I have knowingly put online publicly. But then, I know how to use privacy settings where I know a lot of people don't. I know how to not share everything about myself that I wouldn't want just anyone to know.

I've been online for over a decade, and I have actually gotten more free with what I share over the past few years. That's not saying much, though, since I used to give away next to nothing about my real life. Even my old livejournal that has been defunct for years has fake names and no mention of where I lived at the time. I was super paranoid about things getting leaked online. Now I wouldn't call myself paranoid, just careful. Someone knowing what town I live in, even though it is small, doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. If I had a stalker and s/he knew what s/he was doing, I would be able to be found without the internet's help anyway.

I realize that not everyone takes this view, and I'm not saying they should. This is just my opinions and how I see the situation. It's nothing I haven't seen before, and I never had reason to worry in the past. I don't see a reason to worry now.

Including any information that any of your friends/lovers/family put up about you.

The internet isn't some place where you can put post stuff and later demand it gets taken off. That's why it's pretty much fact that once is online, it's likely never ever going to go away.
that may be but the sites I posted this info to had agreed to keep it private, yes I read the fine print. And I remember every web page I put up, every piece of artwork I signed and posted. (all mine that I myself drew) and each slip up. Still doesn't make it right, just makes it easier to steal my identity. Even if the info is outdated or off.

And the paid sites mentioned that can find the dirty background dirt and police records, I am upset with that too and paying for it doesn't make it right....
however it does make me aware that I need to not be so open about my info...still upset though

I didn't pay for the extra info, but I doubt there was much more. Under the username of mine which uses my first name and half of my last name, it lists Twitter, LiveJournal, and all manner of other sites (but won't give me details unless I subscribe). I highly suspect these are BS, since I don't HAVE a Twitter, LiveJournal or any of the others and my first name is really unusual.

The photo of my parents' house is from Google Street View, and is about two years old. Can't even get a good look at the front of the house, even if you move the camera up and down the street.

Edit: I just searched a friend's name. He's lived about fifteen different places since I met him in 1996. First, it listed Brigham City, Utah. He lived there for 2 years, 2003-2005. Street view shows city hall in the middle of town; satellite view shows a field a few miles out of town southwest. He lived with his father (whose house it was - he wasn't on the lease) in the north end of town. Then it listed <my city>, Washington, where he lived for most of his life; we're gettin' closer. Some random field in the middle of a housing area? Uh, he lived about four miles away as a little kid, but... Next entry: His apt. complex in <my town>, where he lived for the past (recent) 3 years. Got that one. Last entry, also <my town>: the address of the Wally-Mart at the far edge of town...? And the satellite view has its pinpoint marker in Wally World's garden center...?? Mind, he hasn't even *worked* at a Wal-Mart. Bizarre. Hey, put your friends' addresses in and see who can find the weirdest supposed living location!

Tried another friend, and it listed his parents' house, where he lived when I met him; his 3rd and 5th addresses after that, and my house where he stayed and got mail for a year! Innnteresting...

I looked up my most recent landline phone number on there, and while they have the correct address, they also have me listed as being a Hispanic man named Wilson. (Which would explain why I've sometimes received mail addressed to someone of that name)

only correct info on me is that I'm female.

I'm not in my mid 60's and I've never had an income of 199K, nor have I lived at that address in over 8 years, it's not a house that I own(it has an apt# for pete's sake!), and I'm not single....

Had you ever claimed you had a billion dollar income, or lied about your age? That's what likely does it.

I've not paid for extra info, but just had to share a few other inaccuracies which I found:

                                - my brother is listed as being single and living at our mom's house, while his wife is listed as being married and living on the other side of town.

                                - my sister apparently has a female in her house who shares her middle initial and married name, but has her maiden name as a first name.

                                - I apparently live in my apartment with my parents, who are listed as "unknown". And while my mom's name IS on the lease, my father has been dead for nearly 25 years.

                                - One of the musicians whom I used to chat with back in the day is listed as being both genders, and is supposedly alive......when I know for a fact that he died a few years back from cancer-related issues.
