I will not look down on a woman who makes her living as a stripper. However, I don't think it should be encouraged. Better to make a living based on what's between your ears than what's on your chest. I don't think that's sanctimonious, absurd, or bizarre, it's about wanting the best education and opportunities for the next generation of young women.

I don't see how taking a LOT of money from a strip club to pay for educational stuff is encouraging girls to become strippers. If anything, it looks like the owner wants kids to get the best education, so any girls who DO come to work at his place have made a choice among the many options available to them.

Besides, you can give me all the examples you want of kindly bar/club owners and girls who use the cash to pay for college. But you know that not all of those owners are so kindly, that there are a lot of assholes who will expect those girls to perform "extra services", and that there are a lot of girls who have no other options. If a woman decides of her own free will to take off her clothes and mimic sex acts on a pole for money, then that's her decision. But it should be a well-informed decision made from a place of logic and reason, not desperation.

I hope so, that doesn't mean that a strong guy shouldn't have a job where he can use his strength. He ought to take every chance to get qualified for something else to prepare for the day when his strength is gone or his joints hurt.

It seems to me that if you have an advantage with a time limit attached, it would behoove you to make use of that advantage while it was still there, rather than ignoring it because it wouldn't be there some nebulous time in the future.

I'm not arguing that. In fact, I believe I said that the school *should* accept the donation. Schools are so ridiculously broke right now, and with states slashing their education budgets it's only going to get worse. Add in the fact that the way public schools are funded guarantees that schools in poor neighborhoods are worse off, then this school would be foolish to return the money. They need every penny they can get.

So... Using your physical advantages for 10 years means that after that 10 years, you can't use your mental advantages?

The two aren't mutually exclusive. Hell, you could be doing both, if you were ambitious. In fact, quite a few people do do both. The last stripper I personally knew was putting herself through school because she, like anyone else with two braincells to rub together, knew it wouldn't last. And she was one of the dumb ones.
