This sorta makes me ashamed to be a college football fan

Similar in concept, but still hard to do in a *permanent* way, short of arson or something.

Should probably do something similar to The Great Rose Bowl Hoax.

See, the big difference there is that the great rose bowl hoax didn't actually HURT anyone, or anything. Its the sort of thing you can look back on and say "Oh, well, I guess it was kind of funny" as opposed to something like poisoning trees.

I have no sympathy for the college, but the loss of the trees does bother me.

Just curious, but what happens if someone wears a (licensed by the league) jersey of a major league professional sports team which happens to share the same colours as a rival school? Bonus points if it's a team where your school is in the "catchment area" (e.g. for any school in B.C., a B.C. Lions jersey).

These are the questions that keep me up at night.

Only one I could think of would be the Saints (black and gold ala Mizzou), and there aren't a lot of Saints fans up here.* Oddly enough, the fanboy rabidity does not transfer to the KC Chiefs or Royals. In fact, I rarely see anyone wearing Chiefs/Royals gear on campus. But that might be because they suck.

*I'm not by any means an expert on sports, so there are probably others.
