It's always the least important things organizations get their asses in a knot over. Put a woman in jail for planting a vegetable garden?!! There's better and much more important things to worry about than somebody not conforming to the cookie cutter standards of the code!

HOAs get to have rules far more asinine than most cities can get away with.

It's good to check into the local HOA rules before ever moving into an area. Some are pretty much just what you'd expect while others make you wonder what the hell they were smoking.

If I ever bought a house I would refuse to live in an HOA. Flat out refuse. I can live with being micromanaged if I rent but if I own? They can suck it.
