  • Man has a possible heartattack

on a RyanAir flight from the UK to Sweden and the flightcrew ignores wife and daughters pleas then give the man a sandwich and demands payment

now to be fair RyanAIr is REALLY a no frills budget carrier but according to the article the airstewards (or whatever they are called these days) were ill prepared to deal with an in-flight medical emergancy
I'm lost without a paddle and I'm headed up sh*t creek.

I got one foot on a banana peel and the other in the Twilight Zone.

Ryan air is the one that tried to save money by making their planes standing only, right?

    Yeah. I believe it.

They also tried to charge passengers for using the lavatory.

I'm pretty certain they used those releases as means of gaining attention to just how low-priced their fares are. Thing is, at prices like that they need every seat full. Making sure that people are aware that their prices are legendarily low is one way of doing that.

I overheard a couple of guys a few years ago talking bout Ryanair or easyjet and how long they were stranded due to technical dificulties and that in the end passengers from the next flight were boarding theirs, I thought more like "We will fly at a loss with this ammount of passengers, so lets just sit here till we are full up"

This is actually fairly common amongst most airlines, although they'll all deny it vehemently.
