I'm with you. I hit News.google.com and tried to find any other references to it. The only one I found was another site that had the same article word for word.

Unless I can find some other news article about this I'm chalking it to foreign tabloid press. It just sounds dodgy.

I'm sure that under a bizarre set of circumstances jerking it can kill a person...but something else has to be wrong with the body first and if it wasn't the wanking, it would have been something else.

And there is the whole "Who counted?" as well as the fact that pulling on it that much chafes.

Many can even speak from experience that full on sex can cause both partners to be irritated after a lengthy session.

Here's a science blog where one of the writers actually was ready to post up a real post about it before he realized it's from a Spanish-language real-looking fake news site. He got far enough along, that he decided that he wasn't going to waste all that effort and throw up an edited post, anyway, complete with 42 one-liner jokes. Some are pretty damn funny.

Anyway, the biggest clue that it's not a real news story is no details about anything other than the city and his age. No names, no actual cause of death, etc, etc. I'm sure Snopes will have a page on this within the next few days.
