There's lots of talk about filing a formal complaint, and no comment that a formal complaint has ever been filed.
GLAAD doesn't seem terribly alarmed either.

(Especially if what they're doing is reading something like the Quran. Which is worse, a few customers who complain to higher-ups that you wouldn't make someone stop reading a book, or a religious discrimination lawsuit?)

As for the other... this is the first I've ever heard of *any* definition of "premeditation" that includes spur-of-the-moment actions. If you don't like the book as an example, try holding hands.
That's the problem...when they looked into the complaint, the person who they talked to threw a fit. So no matter if what she'd been doing WAS reasonable or not, once she threw that fit, it was a moot point. It's entirely possible that the entire matter would have been dropped once the complainers saw the 'troublemakers' being talked to, without any idea what was really said. In the Quran example, once it was pointed out what was being read, a comment to the person reading it of 'I'm sorry, I have to investigate complaints' and letting the matter drop would have been likely...as I've no doubts the matter with the actresses would have been dropped if they hadn't thrown a fit. I've flown a great deal, and in *MY* experience, people don't complain as easily on a plane (To the stewardeses) as they do off of one. For there to be multiple complaints, either you have a group all deciding to complain (which I find unlikely, though possible), multiple different homophobes all picking the same target (More unlikely, IMO), or you have something that isn't 'right'. When you look at all the holes her story has to begin with, and the fact an airline that has self-proclaimed itself to be actively LGBT friendly backing their employee, and the fact she's claiming to have proof that just isn't appearing, and her formal complaint has yet to appear... I'm not a betting man, but I'd put a paycheck on the fact she was in the wrong here.
