Im not exactly against cat death, Im not gonna swerve off the road into a tree or anything to avoid hitting them. But I also wouldnt intentionally try to kill one either, unless like an old cat my mom had. Poor thing had some sort of tumor that was pushing its teeth out.

Seriously, if you're that invested in your car and you find it a personal affront if it gets touched (which I still think is defective thinking) then buy a cover for the damned thing. Or make one. There is still zero excuse for poisoning the pets of your neighbor, especially when you don't even have the balls to talk to her about your concerns beforehand.
And did you see that car? It hasn't moved for months. All of the tires are half-flat and there are cobwebs between them and the bricks in place to keep it from rolling. Plus, the window on the passenger side is up, so unless the driver's side is down for some reason, they can't get into the car itself.
What's next? Are we going to see some story about some person electrocuting their car to keep the birds from landing on it?

I've been yelled at by people who *think* I might have dented their car when I opened my door (they were parked too close to the line, not my fault). I don't understand why so many get bent out of shape over it. Most of the time it doesn't even dent the car and even if it did, is it anything to go psycho over?

What people need to remember is that it's not the fault of the animal. It's the fault of the owner for letting the animal roam.
I'm a responsible pet owner, but occasionally my cats will get out. It happens. When they do, if there's any mischief-making on their part, I am responsible since they are my pets. I would apologize accordingly and (hypothetically) offer to wash a car or fix whatever damage they did.
But attempting to poison my pet because it got out? Yeah, fuck that. Lets just say I'd be in jail.

I'm just saying what I would do if my cats got out and did damage if the siutation was presented to me. I guess in this case, it would be a moot point since the crazy just took matters into her own hands. Ugh.

I love my car. And anyone touching it without my permission is blatant disrespect, and I WILL get upset about it. I should not have to wrap it up and hide it because some people have no respect for others. Besides, you can't "hide" it in public when you're in a parking lot.
Some people may think I'm materialistic and egotistical and uptight, but I don't fucking care. I'm paying a lot of money for that car. Plus, it's MINE. Just the same, do you want people messing with your purse, your shoes?

A co-worker of mine was very late to work one morning, when he finally did make it in I got to hear him talking to his mechanic, and a few days later heard the aftermath of him having to talk to his neighbors, the police were called, as a matter of fact. Seems the neighbor's cat got cold and crawled into the engine of my co-worker's car, and didn't get out when he started it. Neighbor was insisting co-worker owed him the value of the cat, police sided with co-worker for the $2000.00 car repair(not to be gross, but cat pieces damaged many, many parts of the engine, and punctured the radiator, ripped up the belts, hoses, etc. )
