It is nice the useless zero tolerance policies from school have made it to the work place. While looking at the video you could assume he went to far hitting them when they are down. However, I wasn't there and don't know how afraid for his safety he was, but sorry once you jump the counter and come at me as a cashier I feel you mean to do me extreme bodily harm and bet the cashier had a similar view.
Corporate would much rather you lay down and take a beating from scum than defend yourself, however I think SCs and EWs really need to understand if you jump the counter you have crossed a line of no return and whatever happens is on you.
edit:
I was looking at the video comments "Exactly if this was 2 men who jumped the counter it would have been attempted battery at the very least, but because its 2 loud mouth hoes its only menacing and trespassing, what a fucking joke."
Kind of brings up a point. My mom always said if a girl is man enough to throw a punch, she better be man enough to take one.Last edited by insertNameHere; 10-15-2011, 09:32 PM.

They scream, yell, throw shit, shove the cash registers over, leap the counter, etc.
What the Hell, people?

It was horrible. I will never go to another McDonald's in the US again.
Most FF employees are courteous and do a good job (exceptions proving the rule of course).
Originally posted by Rapscallion View PostActually, I found one occasion some years later on the US side of Niagara where Gatekeeper, Ree, and I (possibly with Technical Angel - may have already dropped her off at the airport) were in some huge mall thing - Mall of America? - and my credit and debit cards wouldn't work. Or at least the guy behind the counter said they weren't working, and no way was he accepting traveller's cheques, and it was plain he wasn't happy with this hapless Limey. I could easily put that down to ancestry, since my cards worked everywhere else. I also got the feeling that he was the manager or owner and thus wouldn't survive in business for long with that sort of attitude.
I used to use them all the time when I went to Gen Con. They were great because if I lost them, or they were stolen, I could easily get them replaced. This was before debit cards became so ubiquitous.

While we did stop at McDonalds, I only recall that it tasted weird and greasy because all the recipes were different for the US market. I don't recall the cashier wanting to kill us. But it was probably too close to the border. -.-
My parents have been telling me horror stories about their trips to the US for years. They normally do an annual roadtrip ( They were aiming to visit every state before they die ;p ) and have done so for over 10 years. But since 9/11, every year they went down was just a little bit scarier. Then it went full crazy when Obama took office to the point where they won't go back now. Because driving through the south with Canadian plates is uncomfortable at best and scary at worst.
People would notice their plates at a gas station and literally just walk up to them and start ranting about socialism.snowbird seasonwinter.
I don't really have much sympathy for the cashier to be honest because he went WAY too far with beating the SC and continued to do so despite being told to stop many times. I won't be surprised if either of the SC's decide to take legal action or at the very least press charges against the cashier. There are no stupid questions, just stupid people...

I'm not a fighter, but I intend to survive.
Mall of America is in Minnesota, so I'm not sure where you were at. But there is no reason not to accept traveler's cheques, and lots of people use them here. They the same as cash. He probably wasn't sure how to use them properly.
I'm pretty sure the guy just hated me for having a full beard. He just had the handlebar moustache, so I figure facefur envy.

I've only been to MOA a few times, the most recent was last October, and I know it took longer than usual for my purchases to post onto my bank account. Granted, that place is very intimidating to me, and I feel you'd need more than one day to shop there, to see everything and go everywhere you want. So many stores we just don't have in this little redneck piddly area. Though it helps if you know where you're going and don't end up there at 3 pm on a Sunday when they close at 7 pm.
Meh, the most violent thing I ever saw in a fast food joint was the asshole who thought I was just sitting in my car ahead of him wasting time. There was a wait on my food. He was pounding on his steering wheel and ripping at his hair and his mouth was wide agape screaming "Go bitch!" at me.

I think the cashier was justified at what he did.
One of these women physically assaulted him. The cashier gets mad, but he is moving away from the situation. The two women come after him, one by jumping over the counter (who I believe slapped dude and got the worst of it) with her friend going around the counter possibly seeking an enterance to the kitchen.
He was under threat. A commercial kitchen is not a safe place to be when someone is violently mad and is coming after you. So he (and I would have also) got a weapon and took care of business. Who is to say that one or both of these women were not armed with a gun? I would have done the same thing that he did, incapacitate them to the point to where they are not a threat anymore. He is in trouble because he may have crossed a line, continually whacking them with that metal bar after the threat has been subdued. There is also a male/female dynamic, with a felon, much stronger male beating on women. if the roles were reversed and this was a female whacking two men coming after her, she would not have been arrested.
The problem is that the cashier is a felon who is on parole and just got out of the joint after 10 years for a Manslaughter conviction. This isn't good for him, and he would not be in trouble (at least for this) if those two bitches never walked into his store with the attitude and violence. This is about the fourth or fifth forum about this incident and everyone is on this guy's side, even...........STORMFRONT !!
In 2005, I was travelling in Vietnam. One morning, I was on a long distance tourist bus when a young English woman got on board. She asked me if there was air-con on the bus and I told her that I am not the driver and I dont know. She took offense and started calling me names and shit and then the bitch kicked my leg HARD. I jumped up out of my seat to go toe to toe with her. The only reason that bitch didn't see a Vietnamese hospital and me in a bamboo jail was that her husband seperated us, and he was actually fairly calm (I think he thought that she was an asshole about this too, and she was more than likely hungover because I smelled a hint of beer breath). But he wasn't there, I would of hurt that bitch. I hate violence against women by men, but if she hits first, let's go.Last edited by senor boogie woogie; 10-16-2011, 03:32 PM.

I read Stormfront because I like to hear and read different viewpoints. Since this was about blacks fighting in a McDonalds, I wanted to read their take on the subject. This is also one of the few websites where one can talk openly about race, and yes, there are a number of non whites and Jews who are on there also.

Both women were intoxicated per news update. ( Surprise suprise ). Also, I didn't notice the first time around, but turns out he's yelling "Stay down" at them and only smacking them when they get back up to keep fighting. -.-

Also, if by "talk openly about race" you mean, "make ignorant and hurtful generalizations about other races without getting called on it", then you'd be right. But it's hardly a site conducive to informative and open dialogue.
