  • NYPD Protests Being Caught Committing Crimes

    Wow

I especially like the part where they began making fun of the welfare line across the street. Also, if you're wondering why "Just Following Orders" sounds kind of familiar, thats because its the same defence Nazis used when they were put on trial. So, brilliant slogan selection there guys. >.>

Ah the old thin blue line. It should be simple. Do a crime, regardless of who you are, and receive punishment. Doesn't matter if you are in the police, the army, the president of the united states, emperor of the universe..

Meh, think that is all I should say for now

"Just following orders" has never been a valid excuse.

If you know it's wrong, then you're as culpable as the ones giving said orders and you deserve to do the time.

Oh, and I find the last line, about the litter left behind by the off-duty officers to be rather eyeroll worthy; isn't this one of the things they're trying to go after the Occupy protesters for?

You'd think those off-duty cops would support crooked cops getting caught and getting in trouble. Continuing of such behavior makes the rest of the precinct look worse.

          Seriously?!

From an old Law & Order episode:

"Before we adjourn, I wish to note for the record that I am apalled. We often say public officials are not above the law, but it's more than that. They serve the law. If they don't respect it, who will?"
