  • Judge beats daughter for the awful crime of.....

    Being on the internet!

The sad part is, this happened seven years ago and is just now coming to light.

Warning: Link goes to video which is graphic and disturbing.

Okay, there's a line between discipline and abuse. This guy didn't cross the line into abuse, he skyrocket past the goal post and into the bleachers. I mean wow, he sounds like he got off on making the daughter cry in pain, all because she disrespected his authoritarian ego. He says stuff like "You want more!" and "I'll beat you into submission". Wow! Great parenting!

Also, in the description box, it says that he emotionally abused the wife too. Interesting since she played a part in the abuse in the video.

Also, she had cerebral palsy, which made her shaky. And is most likely the reason why she wouldn't "comply" and get on her stomach. It also explains why she used the internet and had a passion for technology, but good old fashion traditional values says no to any progress and yes to staying in the dark ages! And even if you agree that she shouldn't have used the internet, you have to admit that this reaction is disproportionate to put it mildly.

I gotta stop before I start rambling, but GOD DAMN I HATE PEOPLE LIKE HIM!!!

I'm for spanking kids but this is an example of a spanking gone WAY too far. Cursing, screaming at her and beating her like a slave with that belt is WAY too far, especially for something so trivial and minor! This asshole should no longer preside on child abuse cases, let alone be on the bench!

And yet there are still comments supporting this fucking prick!

(granted they are the minority, but the fact that some people think this way is disgusting).

Newer article at Online News Website

This one includes comments from the daughter that the judge's claims of having apologized as being false and how upset it makes her that he would make light of what he did, as if just saying "Sorry" is all it would take to make it better.

It also mentions that she told others while it was happening, but because of her father's position, nobody would believe her. I want to know how many people saw the belt marks on her arms (because it's pretty obvious in the video that not all of the blows landed on her legs) and just ignored it because it "wasn't their problem."

This is a perfect example of why every now and then, some real men and some real women should be allowed to go pay that man a visit and beat the ever living crap out of him.

Dont need to kill him. Breaking a lot of his bones and tossing him in the nearest river will suffice. If it his not his time then let him pray to his dear and fluffy lord to miracle him back to shore.

Sorry, but this sort of thing pisses me off to no end. I got spanked when I was a kid, rarely with a belt and never did it crack like that. That man was enjoying what he was doing.

If this guy is so immoral, I feel bad for anyone who ever had him as a judge.

I don't feel bad for the defendants; I feel bad for the plaintiffs who got screwed because he's got such a skewed moral compass.

Or worse, they saw the scars and thought "good, maybe she'll shape up". Especially since this is Texas we're talking about here.

(I know not everyone in Texas is like that, but this kind of things seems to be tolerated more down there)

When I saw the followup video, all I could think of was that he's a self-righteous, sanctimonious asshole that's only "apologizing" for the sake of his career and reputation and nothing more. I'm glad his wife divorced him, sounds like the wife had enough of his bullshit and I'm betting whatever relationship (or more likely lack thereof) he had with his daughter is now gone.

What I find scary is that she still felt guilty for posting the video even after all the abuse and harassment. While she realizes what he did was wrong (and realized it at the time she posted the video), she still struggled with letting the truth out. I mean, it took her SEVEN YEARS to finally post the video. It's terrifying when you realize how emotionally difficult it is to stand up to abuse or mistreatment, especially when it's your own mother and father as the abusers.

Here she explains why she waited so long. This wasn't the first time it happened. And yes, it does show some clips of the original beating so be warned.

                            Article at Daily Mail (UK)

This one notes that Hillary suffers from ataxic cerebral palsy, which is rare and is often caused by damage to the cerebellum. Some comments elsewhere question whether her affliction is due to physical abuse from her father, which would have had to have happened while her mother was still pregnant with her, as she is said to have suffered it from birth.

Other comments note that the statute of limitations on physically abusing children is five years, and that time limit is way too short, especially when it's the child that has to report the abuse, and if they aren't believed, then they will be sent right back to the abusive parent. As she said, "Back then I was still a minor and living under his roof and releasing it then... I don't know what would have happened to me or my mother or my little sister, so waiting until today seven years later has enabled me to pull away and be able to distance myself from the consequences."

Speaking of sending them back to an abusive parent, here is an excerpt regarding his competency to preside over such cases:
As a result of the furore, the video was being examined by the District Attorney and previous controversial judgements Judge Adams made in cases involving children have come to light.

In a court judgement last October, Judge Adams said that a child's statements 'amounted to no evidence' despite the fact the child's words had been confirmed by third party witnesses and recorded on video several times. The young person had also been interviewed by a child psychologist who believed the child.

Judge Adams also agreed with a lawyer who claimed all children are 'fantasizers' and their testimony should just be ignored.
This man is a remorseless monster that should have no power over the fate of any child.

It's a very good thing I don't live anywhere near this man, or I don't know what I will do.

I watched all of the original video and it gave me flashbacks.

                              Fucking bastard.
