Is a pornography producer/distributor who was recently convicted of obscenity and violating community standards for the hardcore porn he makes. Looking at his website and reading the descriptions of some of the things he makes, I am fairly disturbed, and I say that as someone involved in BDSM. But I don't see how it's illegal. I read somewhere he is facing up to 50 years in prison!

I admire your dauntless mirth in the face of stupidity. The comments just made me weep for humanity.

I generally disapprove of misogynistic porn, but I don't deny consenting adults their right to make, distribute, and watch it. I agree with the general 'thrust' of the article (sorry, couldn't resist) which is that the case against Max Hardcore is a major waste of time and resources in a country with bigger problems.

The anti-porn comments were funny, ("if you're defending free speech here then you're responsible for all the unsafe sex it causes!" - all my porn videos with hetero intercourse have condoms, thanks) but it was the entirely random comments that really had me laughing, like the "Flag? I saw flag in this post! Time for my agenda! Why are there MEXICAN flags in my country? We went to WAR with Mexico!" followed by the completely asinine "Did you know those illegal Hispanics are making millions by not paying taxes???" It was like the thread derailment post, but not intended in jest.
