  • Imus in trouble for racist remarks again

All right this is what originally got him fired from his last job when he made racist comments about the Rutger's basketball team....

Now he's in trouble for making this comment about "Pac Man" Jones....

-----People do drugs and carry guns in nightclubs???

Of course Imus claims a day later he was just defending the brothas, saying that people should be outraged that black people get arrested for no reason, which is why Pac Man's been arrested six times.

Now, if he was just doing "racial humor" I dont think it would be that big of a deal. But the problem is that I've heard accusations that when he worked at WNBC he used to call Robin Quivers, Howard Stern's sidekick, the n word and then take off running and that he has used other racial slurs against other co-workers. If that's true then this just confirms it.

Personally I think he should just stop making comments about blacks since he's already done enough.

Not all of them. However, some of the clubs in Pittsburgh's Strip District, as well as the South Side, have had problems with violence. They've had fights, several assaults, and a few shootings.

BTW Do blacks really do get arrested all the time?
It sure seems that way, locally. Every day, it seems that another black person is shown getting put into a squad car, or being led out of their residence in cuffs. (I know not all of them are, so don't flame me, OK?) Hell, there was one summer I'd see someone getting popped *every* night on the way home!

As for Imus, he's just a racist asshole. He'll get his, sooner or later. Sooner or later, he'll say that to the *wrong* person...with serious consequences.

I'll tell ya one thing regardless: Looking at that creepy face, man you can call me ANY name in the book. At least I dont look like THAT! How the hell he nailed a 30-year-old hot blonde and actually had a kid with her is beyond me! I've heard that there's a few black guys out there that would love to "knock his head off" but I think that would be doing him a favor.

Anyway here's a link that's got a video clip of Imus's reaction. He points out he's now got black people working on his radio show. I'm glad he points that out.....

I'm shocked he actually found black people willing to work for him. Unless of course, he's full of shit and just claiming he now has blacks working on his show. Has anyone that works there come forward and confirmed that? Because otherwise all we have is his word.

You might as well say that the Klan should stop lynching blacks. Some people just do what's in their nature.

There was a local broadcaster here (DC metro area). His name is Michael Graham. I used to listen to him when I had the chance and he made a comment that I knew went too far. "Islam is a terrorist organization” He also said repeatedly that “moderate Muslims are those who only want to kill Jews” and that “the problem is not extremism. The problem is Islam.”

It took a few days, but he got fired and I don't blame them. I liked him, but the second those words came out of his mouth, I knew he was in trouble. A year earlier he showed up at a Casa De Maryland rally (they support illegal immigration) wearing an INS T-Shirt.

Some people like to push the envelop, because they can. Just because they get their hand slapped, doesn't mean they won't/can't stop. They get hired elsewhere and keep doing it. Sorta like a spoiled child, who won't stop misbehaving.

You kidding me? Some people will do anything for money.

For example, I personally I think that Howard Stern has a little bigoted streak (in his public persona) and qualifies it with Robin Quivers. If she laughs, then it's okay.

That was Imus's mistake. The black guy on stage with him when he made the "nappy hoes" comment didn't think it was funny. He may not have been offended, but he didn't laugh, giving the impression that it was okay.

Imus is just a moron. He's obviously just fishing for attention. He should get fired ASAP.

Locally (SW PA does have a Klan presence, unfortunately), those idiots are pretty quiet. They keep mainly to themselves up in the hills--you don't see most of their actions making the news...so I really doubt they're going around stringing "enemies" up. No, instead they're too busy burning the occasional cross, hiding under their sheets, or trying to figure out why their family trees don't fork.

What I'm trying to say is, the Klan has moved most of their hatred onto the web. It's simply easier to spread their hated anonymously. They can reach a far wider audience that way
