2 men, Same judge, one kills a guy and gets probation for 10 years, (he's wealthy, and has family members in government.) other guy mugs someone (with a gun.) gets $2 hands the wallet back immediately gets caught quickly, gets the same sentence.

Wealthy guy violates probation on many occasions (buy being caught with crack and cocaine and testing positive for cocaine during drug tests.) judge does nothing and then allows him to contact his probation officer by mail. Other guy test positive for marijuana (ONCE) same judge sentenced him to LIFE! (and no it wasn't a 3 strikes ruling.)

This story has a happy ending though after the story aired on 20/20 the other guy was pardoned and the judge was removed from the bench.

People die, does that mean that medical science doesn't work? Of course not.

There are good doctors and there are bad doctors. There are good judges and there are bad judges.

All it takes is one or two people to screw it up for everyone else.

Wowo big surprise though. In this country the rich and powerful can literally get away with anything while poor hardworkign people get shafted. The republic is dead long live the Empire.

I know that it's not the system. I put that title because one person screwed up big time and that's why people don't believe in the justice system, same as reason why malpractice insurance is so high for doctors.

I'm not blaming the system, I'm blaming the judge. But other people will see it as the system failed him not the judge failed him. Sorry if I didn't make it clear, but I actually meant what you said. (and that's what really pissed me off.)

If the 'system' allowed that judge to be put in that position of power in the first place, and that's because the system allowed those who put him there to put him there.....

And.. the 'system' doesn't allow for individuals like you and I to have any effective means to change the system......
