SAG = Screen Actor's Guild

The other ones are the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (TV/radio actors), the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (techies in all fields), and the Director's Guild of America. Interestingly enough, the Writer's Guild (which you may remember for the strike a few years back) is withholding support at the moment. I'm not sure about Actor's Equity Association (the union for actors and stage managers in live theatre).

And, in breaking news, SOPA and PIPA have both been shelved. They're not dead, but they're not currently on the table anymore, either.

Well, that's good news. I had someone say, "Well, you're English, it doesn't really affect you". Um, if I can't view my favourite sites cuz of American legislation, it sure does.
