Lazy Politicians!

I put this here as it's about how lazy the politicians are sometimes, and stupid. It's not about any particular policy so I avoided the politics board. Mods feel free to move if necessary.

So one of our Federal Labour MP's was giving a speech the other day, I'm not even sure where or why, but it seems to be just another speech occasion where one side can attack the other.

Anyhoo, I hope his speech writers have been sacked, or should at least stop watching movies while they work. The below video will explain why!

Yup, they ripped off a scene of Michael Douglas in The American President, practically word for word!!

How embarrassing! I as a Labour voting Australian am shocked at how lazy and stupid our pollies can be.. but then I shouldn't be surprised!

Call me lazy, but I'd use that speech too.
I think its rather effective.

"Unfortunately, Tony Abbott is not the least bit interested in fixing anything.

Given Tony's history and views.... I agree.

While I don't agree with the copying, I agree with the message.
