EPIC FAIL: Mom allows daughter to pose nude on Skype for REALLY stupid reason

The woman said she believed the man on the other end of the webcam was a photographer, and that she and her daughter were in with a chance of winning a $20,000 mother-child bikini photo shoot.

Neither the mother nor her daughter was able to see the man, who said he was in Florida, as he told them his Skype webcam was broken.

'The parent had to show the man what both she and the victim looked like with no clothes on, reportedly so he could see the shape of their bodies,' court documents stated.

Joshua Dunfee, 30, from Oxford Junction, Iowa, is accused of being the fake photographer, and now faces child pornography charges. He denies the allegations, but is being held in custody after a judge declared him a danger to the public.

The case only came to light when the mother telephoned her twin sister about the incident, complaining that her daughter had been 'uncooperative'.

According to the court papers, the child's aunt heard her young niece crying in the background, and reported the matter to the authorities.

I mean it's one thing for a mom to put her daughter through something like that, but how stupid can this woman be? She really believed that some strange man on the internet was a photographer and had to see her and her daughter naked to green light a swimsuit pictorial.

How do people fall for such things??

If the daughter is crying in the background and was "being uncooperative" according to the mom then this goes beyond Naive into the abusing her daughter territory.

I don't care if you Naively beat your kid because you truly believe that's what it takes to become a good person. It's still abuse.

If your a parent you can't afford to be Naive in fact screw it you lose all right to be Naive.

It doesn't sound like the mother 'allowed' her daughter to. More like 'made' her.

I think it all had more to do with the mother's ego being stroked than anything else. Oh Boy someone still wants to see me in a bikini and naked, what see my daughter too no problem as long as my ego continues to be stroked. The aunt should have custody of the kid instead of the Mom.
