  • Penn Govenor suing the NCAA on behalf of the state

    I am not sure what to think on this one. The State of Pennsylvana apparently does not like the way the fine imposed on PSU is going to be distrubted (75% nationally vs 25% in-state)

    It's not hard to see their argument. If it happened in Pennsylvania, why should the 49 other states benefit from the punishment when they had nothing to do with it?

        Did it happen outside Pennsylvania?

          I agree with GreenDay and the Governor here. The majority of the fines, if not all, should stay in Pennsylvania. Anything that doesn't go into organizations within the state should go to a national foundation/organization against abuse. Money going into "grants" can easily be used for other things by whomever is requesting them.
