All of the 'adults' (I still maintain that these two should have been tried as adults instead of juveniles) in the case need to be tried as well. These attacks happened in their homes and they need to be held accountable for what was going on as well.
Why, did they know there was a rape happening there?

Ugh! CNN is basically grieving for the ruined lives of these "promising" young men.

Rapists deserve to have their lives ruined, because rape is one of those crimes that ruins the life of the victims. The victim in this case will have to live with the emotional (and possibly physical) scarring of what happened. She was not only raped, but then turned into a social pariah because she dared to accuse the star football players.

Did anyone else notice during their apologies that they didn't actually apologize for what they did? One apologized for taking pictures (!) and the other simply said he never meant to do that.

        Fuck both of them.

The victim wasn't in the courtroom. I'm glad; I'd hate to think how their hollow sorrow would have affected her.

They're not sorry about what they did. They're sorry they got caught.
Good news! Your insurance company says they'll cover you. Unfortunately, they also say it will be with dirt.

People disgust me. I'm going to vomit from this.

Blogger who helped expose the truth. It's terrifying how people will delude themselves into denying the blatant truth and will viciously attack anyone who tries to expose it. I can feel the bile rising. >_<

Was the girl in question able to get out of that town? She's not safe. Guarenteed she'll get attacked again if she stays.

Especially since Fox News was kind enough to release her name on live television.

                  Isn't this ILLEGAL?

She's from another state. She crossed the state line for a night of partying. So it's a good thing she's not from that town.

The parents should be held responsible to the fact that there was underage drinking and from that drinking a crime was made.

This image sums up pretty well how different news outlets are reinforcing rape culture.

"Oh, poor rapists! They had such promising futures! If only that wicked girl hadn't tempted them by getting drunk they would still be good, honest boys!"

I'm glad she doesn't live there. Hope her home isn't close enough for any football obsessed mob parties to make a visit.

Not necesarily, but they knew there was drinking going on, quite possibly even supplied the alcohol.

Did you perhaps intend that as a response to someone else?

Then they certainly should be charged with whatever laws that violates, if it can be proven.
