This is actually the exact opposite of a waste of time.
This is a very important case regarding the protection given for "fair use" and can set an important precedent against copyright holders misusing the take-down process to stifle the speech of others.
As much as I like his music, Prince is an ass, and the music industry needs to unclench quite a bit.

Prince absolutely is an uptight asshole. He's so far up himself that he refused to let Yankovic parody him.
I'm not sure why this is a waste of the mother's time, especially if she's awarded damages from their action being declared beyond their legal bounds.

am i the only one who is worried if she loses? is she does it sets a hell of a bad precedent, and opens up the door to have tons of videos pulled down because of accidental background music #5..All uses of You, You're, and etc are generic unless specified otherwise.
