Yeah, if someone is holding you at gunpoint / knifepoint as leverage, you're fucked if you allow them to take you anywhere. Once they no longer need you as a bargaining chip or once they get you to a place with no witnesses its game over.

This. I've actually told someone to shoot me cause I wasn't getting in that car and going with them. If they were serious about shooting me they'd have to do it there in that parking lot. They let me go.
