I saw a movie where people started to go blind for no reason, they were rounded up and put into an abandoned asylum and eventually they stopped sending food (mostly due to everyone going blind), being struck blind and in an unfamiliar place wasn't the best and even people born blind were hereded up even though they were not contagious unlike those being struck blind alegedly were.

So yeah modern day Aushwitz (sp) coming right up, cos I don't belive they will give a flying fuck about anyone once they end up encarserated for no good damn reason.

If the amendment hadn't been offered, I'd be inclined to believe they simply overlooked the possibility. But rejecting the exclusion makes any claim that the law isn't intended to be used that way hollow.

This is ridiculous. We don't need to quarantine them. We should just make them wear arm-bands to publicly identify them, make them walk on the street and not on the sidewalk like the rest of us, not let them use our water fountains, and make them eat in the kitchen. That'll save us!

With leporacy you could catch it via touch, or stand a way better chance than contracting AIDS/HIV by a hand shake.
It's also not possible to catch 'the jew' by shaking hands with a Rabbi either, but by crikey sometimes it looked like it was feared to happen 'just like that'.

A forced internment camp being likened to a leper colony or a part of the holocuast with or without gas showers, is for want of a better word, a forced internment camp.

I've re read the link, did so after my first post, can't see any actual facilities being built for this purpose, so my current post is still just knee jerk goodwin in action.
But if you are going to set aside an area for those with HIV and AIDS and even if the true numbers indicate that it is on the rise more in hetrosexuals than the gay community (not checked so I don't know) you should just make sure you set it up in the most fabulous side of town sweety.
